The efficiency of the reaction relates to the wax content. As naphthenic VGO and 200SN dewaxing oil contain little wax, the condensation point of each is not high, and it can reduce the pour point to the prescriptive temperature under a milder condition. While the wax content of 650SN is higher, the pour point must be reduced by 80 ¡æ, so it needs a rigorous reaction condition.
