[交流] 【调查】高斯计算,你算过的最大体系有多少个基函数? 已有7人参与

想看看在大家的实际应用过程中,高斯到底能算多大体系,便于确认有些体系能否用高斯来算。

先说说自己的情况
最大698个基函数。
先用小或中等基组优化(比如3-21g,6-31g),然后再用大基组优化(如6-311++**),一个体系用时1~2天,包括构型优化和频率计算
用的是八核心,12gb内存的服务器

你算过的体系最大有多大呢?欢迎回帖

我曾经计算过超过4000基函的体系(hgga算opt和td,没敢算freq)
8核心16G内存200G硬盘,搞了6天多

其实我觉得我可以算得更大,还可以增加资源嘛

不知道现在高斯并行的话,用多少个核效率较高?
最近自己在测试,可是服务器总出问题,导致我的作业老是中途死掉,到现在也没得到结果,所以在这里问下。
