| I sat alone in my room, looking straight at the only sound from the wall clock, tired and despaired. There was just a sound telling me that I was the only person on the earth a moment ago. Immediately my eyes wakened up, I jumped from bed and rushed out of my room, crying for everybody and running through every street. Only when all the sound left was my echo did I realize it was true. Fears haunting in my mind, I dragged my legs all the way to my sofa. Suddenly a knock on the door gave me a chilly startle. I sat straight abruptly, finding I just slept on the carpet in the foot of the sofa, nearly the novel book lying there. Door opened, I found my mother was preparing breakfast. Smiling through tears, I gave her a big hug around her back waist. It was so warm that I never felt ever. |
