审稿意见中的”appropriated“的理解

今天给了返修意见，其中一个审稿人在总结本文章的时候，在末尾来了一句：“The authors used appropriated phylogenetic methods.” 我查了一下，appropriate作为动词并不是恰当的意思，而是擅用的意思。但是在下面的具体评审时，审稿人并未给出对分析方法的具体评阅，导致我很困惑。 有一点我还要说明一下，文中我在写这些方法时，没有将这些方法参考了哪些文献写进去，会不会就是这个导致了问题？ 望高手解答！ 多谢！ 更新： 我特意发信去询问了编辑，原来是审稿人笔误，应该是恰当的意思。以下是编辑回信： I have now received a response from the referee. The sentence should have read "the authors use the appropriate phylogenetic methods". The referee has confirmed that the methods you used are okay, and has no further comments on these methods. Please revise your paper in view of the other points mentioned. I trust this is helpful. |
