Therefore, some smartphones tear down connections to the mobile network soon after a completed data transmission to reduce the energy consumption of their transmission unit. However, frequent connection reestablishments caused by apps which send or receive small amounts of data often lead to consume large amounts of energy within the mobile network. This paper presents an optimization mechanism to buffer the network packages, the package is classified according to the urgency of application, and then combined with the original PS(Power Save) Mode mechanism of WiFi to dynamic regulate the data transmission, correspondingly, urgent application data will be transimited immediately while other application data will be delayed transimitted according to different time delay.The experimental results showed that our optimization mechanism for the foreground application can improve the network response time, and for background application and the background application when lock screen, our mechanism can reduce the energy consumption of WIFI. |
