[交流] 【activity】Paraphrase practice two

Today our sentences are:
We shouldn't treat this legacy too casually.
He is not sure which decision to make.
It's hard to tell if he helps or drags the leg of Australian politics.

You can choose one of them or all of them to paraphrase. Up to you.

All the paraphrase practice will be put in the folder "English Writing"
Feel free to subscribe it.

I will give you guys a sentence or sentences on a regular basis.
Basically these sentences have some deficits and what I expect you guys to do is to eliminate deficits as you can.
You can add more details, you can do some replacements, and you can do anything you want.

As long as you post your version here, I will give you some BBs.
For good translations, I will highlight them. And of course I will post my own version here.

My translation:

This is not a legacy to be treated lightly.

He is tied between two horses walking in different directions, unsure of which rope to cut.

It’s a tough call as to whether he was a builder or a destroyer in progressive Australian politics.

i think the legacy should not give others freely.
when you happen to make a dicision, even small, you should take it seriously.
i am always upset whether it was good for Australian politics or not ...

Mate. it's good that you are willing to give it a go.
I will be picking up your errors now

The first sentence, normally we don't say "we think...not"
we use "we don't think"instead.
In addition, I didn't quite get it when you say "give others freely"
If you are confident with your writing, then paraphrase it. If you are not sure, just leave it there unchanged.
I would say "I don't think this legacy should be treated lightly."

The second sentence, though you changed the meaning of my original sentence, it's ultimate goal to get every sentence error-free. I would say "when you are about to make a decision, no matter how small the decision is, you should treat it seriously."

The third sentence. You didn't get the meaning of "upset"right.
I would say "It's hard for people to tell whether he made a positive or negative contribution in Australian politics progression."

Hope you can come here more often and write more often.
Here is another activity, hope you can benefit from the answer given.
