审稿意见和编辑意见，有点小糊涂。该怎么办？

Attached below is the comment provided by a selected reviewer for the above-mentioned manuscript, which has been considered for publication in Genes & Genetic Systems (GGS). I was hoping to obtain an additional reviewer, but all other candidate reviewers refused to do the reviewing. It now appears that the waiting is too long. The only reviewer, who responded and provided a comment, raises a number of major issues that preclude the acceptance of the submitted manuscript in its present form. After reading the manuscript myself, I agree with the reviewer, and find the present work unsuitable for GGS. Revisions required to address all the issues raised by the reviewer would be substantial, and my editorial judgment would therefore be a rejection. Although the outcome with regard to this submission is not favorable, we trust that you will find the comment of value. 第一段明明说了which has been considered for publication in Genes & Genetic Systems (GGS). 但是第二段又说 my editorial judgment would therefore be a rejection. 这种情况怎么办？能否按照修改意见大修后再投？ |

which has been considered for publication in Genes & Genetic Systems (GGS)，这句话只是编辑对于要外审的文章的一句普通的描述，就是说你的这篇文章编辑部考虑将你的文章送审，认为有发表的潜力，但是否发表取决于审稿意见。 After reading the manuscript myself, I agree with the reviewer, and find the present work unsuitable for GGS. Revisions required to address all the issues raised by the reviewer would be substantial, and my editorial judgment would therefore be a rejection. 这句话才是正儿八经的审稿意见 当然，你可以按照当前的审稿意见修改，修改完了再投，除非该期刊明确表述不再接收你这篇被拒的文章 |

一般第一段话都不是重点，第二段才是关键。看编辑的意思，是拒绝，After reading the manuscript myself, I agree with the reviewer, and find the present work unsuitable for GGS. 最后还鼓励一下，Although the outcome with regard to this submission is not favorable, we trust that you will find the comment of value. |
