SCI论文外审专家意见求助。

最近有一篇SCI论文意见返回，是小修。专家意见如下： This is a well prepared and argued paper spoilt by poor English (use the facilities provided by the Word programme?). I was particularly pleased to see biodiversity values calculated for biomass as well as populations (often this is not done and biomass makes more sense in an ecosystem analysis). Suggestions for improvement would be: 1. to utilise the Simpson Index as opposed to Shannon-Wiener since the latter is more influence by species richness and the former give a wider range of values 2. to give more detail on the sampling protocol such that we know exactly how it is done. This is because with low sample numbers any individual sample will have an importance and if it varies because of non-uniform sampling this will change the results The discussion was sensible and the paper shows that when a thorough and careful analysis utilising a range if indices is applied useful and reliable data/information will result. Looking at Table 1 the area does seem to be species poor. 能否翻译一下这些意见，同时特别是以下几个问题希望大家能帮助我。 （1）I was particularly pleased to see biodiversity values calculated for biomass as well as populations。这里专家意见要求我根据生物量计算多样性。另外，那个根据population计算多样性是什么多样性？ （2）to utilise the Simpson Index as opposed to Shannon-Wiener。是仅仅利用Simpson多样性，还是两者均用？ （3）其他的意见感觉都是英语国家专家给的，句子有些模糊，请帮我明确他的审稿建议。 |

（1）I was particularly pleased to see biodiversity values calculated for biomass as well as populations。这里专家对你用生物量和群体计算多样性感到非常满意，并没有提要求。 （2）to utilise the Simpson Index as opposed to Shannon-Wiener。仅用Simpson，因为后者不合适。 找专业人士或公司润色，应该没有问题。 |
