各位大哥大姐，我是第一次投英文稿，投的Plos One，审了之后编辑给出的意见如下，有一些不明白的地方求指教

1. Is the manuscript technically sound, and do the data support the conclusions?

The manuscript must describe a technically sound piece of scientific research with data that supports the conclusions. Experiments must have been conducted rigorously, with appropriate controls, replication, and sample sizes. The conclusions must be drawn appropriately based on the data presented.

Reviewer #1: The manuscript is technically sound and the results support the conclusions. However, the case study is a hypothetical case study. There are many studies, which are done using a hypothetical case study , may be because of a real EPANET network is hard to get.
我主要是做供水系统这方面的，用的软件是EPANET来做模拟，我想问下Reviewer的意思是说我这个案例是假设的吗？案例引用的是别的作者已经发表的两篇文章中的案例，那个作者在论文里说“The example WDS represents a simplified version of part of a WDS” （WDS 是供水系统的缩写）我想问下作者这么说了，我这个案例引用算是假设的吗？还是实际的？如果要用EPANET的话必须在简化的基础上来运行，所以不知道这个问题该如何回答了。

Authors must follow field-specific standards for data deposition in publicly available resources and should include accession numbers in the manuscript when relevant. The manuscript should explain what steps have been taken to make data available, particularly in cases where the data cannot be publicly deposited.

这里Reviewer又说这个案例是假设的，请问我该怎么处理？向这种两个问题差不多的，我这个问题需要回复吗？回复的话应该怎么说？

Plos One意见里有这样的6大条编辑列出要求，Reviewer选择Yes或No的段落，请问这样的是不是也要逐条回复？

如果你可以用比统计分析更好的方法那就更有说服力。

补充一个问题，Reviewer说“There was not much to do using statistical analysis. There could be some uncertainty analysis done, e.g., Monte Carlo simulation to support the uncertainty in parameters.”这里第一句“There was not much to do using statistical analysis. ”是啥意思？是说不需要使用统计分析吗？

这是审稿人回答编辑的问题，不需要你逐一回复的。你只需要回复编辑要求你回答的问题就可以了。
你补充问题的意思是，用统计分析解决不了什么问题（对你的研究对象来说），没有太大的意义。
