Dear Dr. XX XX: I am delighted to let you know that the 2012 journal impact factor has been released, and the impact factor for Food and Bioprocess Technology: An International Journal (FABT) has been increased again, reaching a record high of 4.115! This new impact factor is remarkable as the number of articles published in FABT has been increased significantly again in the past two years. By excluding the journals which only publish review articles, this latest impact factor indicates that FABT is one of the two most influencing journals in the world, which publish original research papers. Please note that you can help to maintain this success by citing papers published in FABT as many as possible in your own publications, and also by encouraging your colleagues, students and friends to do so. You are welcome to submit your next high quality manuscript (in particular review papers) to FABT. Please note that manuscripts for FABT must have a strong food focus and contain elements of engineering/technology. In addition, manuscripts for FABT must contain sufficient novelties.
