为什么在低温、强磁场下，半导体中的电子只能沿着边缘运动？

At low temperature and high magnetic field, electrons travel only along the edge of the semiconductor。今天看文献《The quantum spin Hall effect and topological insulators》是看到的，请问这是为什么呢？ 这是不是就是edge state的出处啊 |
