[交流] 大修，求指导！

投了一片文章在nanoscale上，两个审稿人，其中一个小修接受，另一个据稿，原因是有一篇类似文章一个月前发表，编辑要求大修，但又没什么具体意见，我都不知道怎么修，大家看看有什么好的建议吗？
Dear authors, I can see much nice work reported in this paper. Unfortunately a recent publication in Biomaterials with highly similar work reported precludes me to recommend your paper for publication in nanoscale due to obvious lack of novelty. However, the nanoparticle formulation presented with significant improvements are commendable and should be reported. These formulation improvements could be of high value to specialized audiences. Therefore I'd recommend that this paper be expanded to discuss these aspects of the work in more depth and resubmitted to journals focused on material science and chemistry of nanoparticles. Iron oxide particles are now vastly common in medicine and imaging.

是审稿人的意见，他的意见是据稿，编辑是要求大修。审稿人的语气不对？能解释一下不？
