Let me explain this, if you are afraid of something, you can choose to keep on afraid of it, or get rid of it from your memory of fear.

So it depends what you wanna do.

And a nightmare movie, like a ride on the roller coaster, give you much horrible feeling and afterward, you are well trained to the feeling and in later stage, fear of nothing like.

oh,what you said was very very right,  i can\'t agree with you more. but it seems difficult for me to overcome it. i am afraid of the flash light, and never dare to watch nightmare movies. i also fear worms, such as \"qiu yin\". wu~wu~

There are experiences from time to time common to what you had mentioned, for example the first swimming session, first riding on bicycle, first cooking in kitchen etc., you can try a easier way to handle the flash-fear, try fetch some photos of flash from internet and they look so beautiful, enjoy watching the shape of branches, the spikes and how they never repeat one look out of a million, then your fear will probably become lesser and lesser
