lammps里面的pair_coeff设置问题

仔细看了mannual； 假设pair_style lj/cut 8.0 为什么 pair_coeff * * 1.0 1.0 2.5 还要这样设置？lj不是只需要sigma、epislon两个参数么？cutoff已经设过、 这个2.5是什么意思？ 同理，如果pair_style lj/cut/coul/cut 10.0 pair_coeff * * 这里是设置2个还是3个参数呢？ 多谢！ [ Last edited by kanminbad on 2011-12-26 at 22:52 ] |

根据手册： The latter 2 coefficients are optional. If not specified, the global LJ and Coulombic cutoffs specified in the pair_style command are used. If only one cutoff is specified, it is used as the cutoff for both LJ and Coulombic interactions for this type pair. If both coefficients are specified, they are used as the LJ and Coulombic cutoffs for this type pair. You cannot specify 2 cutoffs for style lj/cut, since it has no Coulombic terms. 假设pair_style lj/cut 8.0 pair_coeff 1 1 1.0 1.0 2.5 这里的2.5就是type 1的原子和type 1的原子之间LJ势的截断半径，其余（例如type 2和type2 之间LJ势）的截断半径为8.0. |
