Materials and Corrosion给小修，有个审稿意见没看懂，望高手们帮忙？

高手们，审稿人给出的一条审稿意见，但没看懂，忘高手能帮忙看一下： On p. 7, last paragraph, the authors state that EDS shows the presence of "metallic elements" Mg, Zn, Al. However, with standard EDS it is not possible to distinguish metallic states from ionic states of the same elements, therefore the authors should remove that claim. Same is true for the subsequent description of nonmetallic elements. 这个意见没搞明白呀，我主要说有金属元素和非金属元素，我的论文中内容如下 EDS and XRD measurements were conducted to characterize the chemical composition of XXXXXXXXX. Fig. 4 shows the EDS spectra of the Mg alloy surfaces. It can be clearly seen that the untreated Mg alloy surfaces consist of metal elemental Mg, Al, Zn, and Mn without any non-metal elements. Compared with the untreated Mg alloy surfaces,XXXXXXXXXXXXX on the Mg alloy surfaces processed in 60 min is mainly composed of metal elemental Mg and non-metal elemental O and Cl. |
