[求助] 请教：acid finally the choice

In the organic laboratory, crystallization is usually the most rapid and convenient method for purifying the products of a reaction. Initially you will be told which solvent to use to crystallize a given substance and how much of it to use; Later on you will judge how much solvent is needed, acid finally the choice of both the solvent and its volume will be left to you. It takes both experience and knowledge to pick the correct solvent for a given purification.

请问，acid finally the choice 中，acid是什么意思？

就是酸的意思
意思说在重结晶中首先考虑溶剂和溶剂的用量
然后再考虑加入酸等

acid所处的位置显然是个名词的，如果是即的话
用and 承接就好多了，但是用and下文就说不通了
在先考虑溶剂和溶剂体积后考虑另外一个
所以是没有错的

（1）所以，俺怀疑是打错了；
（2）从内容来说，与“酸（acid）”也没什么关系。
（3）俺觉得是不是可以这样：
Initiall,y you will be told which solvent to use to crystallize a given substance and how much of it to use.
Later on, you will judge how much solvent is needed.
Finally, the choice of both the solvent and its volume will be left to you.
