请教：acid finally the choice

In the organic laboratory, crystallization is usually the most rapid and convenient method for purifying the products of a reaction. Initially you will be told which solvent to use to crystallize a given substance and how much of it to use; Later on you will judge how much solvent is needed, acid finally the choice of both the solvent and its volume will be left to you.
