This paper compared the national standard reproducibility and repeatability values among several methods that determined multi elements in low alloy steel, including glow discharge atomic emission spectrometry, X-ray fluorescence spectrometry, inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry and spark source atomic emission spectrum analysis. The data showed better reproducibility and relatively higher repeatability in glow discharge atomic emission spectrometry.
