The Pt nanoclusters were electrochemically deposited on the
electrodes under multi-cycle cyclic voltammetry in 0.5mol/L
H2SO4 + 2.0mmol/L H2PtCl6. The potential window was opti-
mized as 0.4 to −0.3V versus SCE. Too negative potentials
would cause a serious production of hydrogen in the acidic
solution and disturb the deposition. The cyclic number and the
scan rate of the potential scanning were optimized as 30 cycles
at 100mV/s for obtaining high sensitivity and reproducibility of the electrode.
