[交流] 投了一篇letter在synthetic metal上被退回来了，编辑的信大家帮我看看。

Dear Mr XXX,

The reviewers have commented on your paper entitled 'XXXXXXXXXXX'. They indicated that it is not acceptable for publication in its present form.

However, if you feel that you can suitably address the reviewers' comments (included below), I invite you to revise and resubmit your manuscript.

Please carefully address the issues raised in the comments when revising your manuscript. Should you choose to send a revised version of your paper, please do so within two months; otherwise, it may be considered by this office as a new submission.

Also, if you are submitting a revised manuscript, please enclose the following:

a) A letter fully addressing the changes you have incorporated into the revised manuscript in accordance with the referee's recommendations.

b) A copy of your revised manuscript showing the changes highlighted. The highlighting can be done in bold, underlined or highlighted font. Please write "highlighted" in the top right corner of this document.

c) A copy of the un-highlighted revised manuscript.

To submit your revision, please do the following:

1. Go to: http://ees.elsevier.com/synmet/

2. Enter your login details

3. Click [Author Login]
This takes you to the Author Main Menu.

4. Click [Submissions Needing Revision]

Bear in mind your revision should be submitted by Apr 05, 2011.

Please note, the revised manuscript is also subject to additional review. I look forward to receiving your revised manuscript.

大家帮我看看  我特别是对中间的a) b) c)三条不是很懂
还有 Bear in mind your revision should be submitted by Apr 05, 2011 这句是让你的4月5号投还是在4月5号之前投啊

尽管reviewers建议拒稿，但编辑可能觉得文章有价值，所以给了一次修改机会，而且不算新投；再投后编辑打算让新的reviewers评审，所以让再推荐reviewers。

什么吗，审稿结束，你的文章要求修改，而不是编辑给你退回来了。要求你单独写一个letter表明你修改的部分，很多期刊是detail revise to reviews，里面回答你对审稿人给出的意见，小木虫有很多模板可以供使用。b和c要求你上传两份修改稿，一份要求将修改的地方高亮，另一份不需要高亮以用于录用后排版

"please suggest three potential referees for your manuscript" 应该还没有审稿。主要是语言问题，需要先好好改一下。
