虽然PDA型均聚酰亚胺PI薄膜的拉伸强度（257.86 Mpa）和模量（2.20 Gpa）分别是CDA型均聚聚酰亚胺PI薄膜的2.4倍和1.6倍，但是，其延伸率却比CDA型均聚聚酰亚胺PI1薄膜要小，而共聚物薄膜则很好地综合了两种均聚物的机械性能优点。
The elongation value of PDA-type homo-PI film was lower than that of CDA-type one, whereas the tensile strength, 257.86 MPa, and modulus, 2.20 GPa were 2.4 and 1.6 times as those of ODA-type one, respectively.。。。。。。

While the copolymer film well integrates the advantages of the two types of homopolyer in mechanical Properties .

Furthermore, the copolymer film of PDA and CDA could  integrate the excellent mechanical properties of those homo-polymers.
