【求助】VASP加电场的具体计算步骤是怎么样的?已有14人参与

VASP加电场的具体计算步骤是否是: 1.先在未加电场的情况下进行几何优化 2.几何优化完后,进行静态自洽计算得到WAVECAR和CHGCAR 3.WAVECAR和CHGCAR的基础上,在INCAR中加入 LDIPOL=.TRUE. IDIPOL=1/2/3 EFIELD= ×× (units eV/A)再进行几何优化。 请高人指点一下我上面的步骤是否正确? 我用上面的步骤计算时,在第3步加入电场后几何优化时电子步的能量来回震荡不收敛,这是什么原因呢?INCAR中还需要特别加入其他什么参数吗?我用的vasp版本是vasp.4.6.28。 请高人帮忙解答,万分感谢! |

一个建议,做结构优化时,电子步可以取小一点,比如20步,或30步。不需要等到电子完全自洽,因为刚开始时几何结构不大合理,收敛会非常慢。但是你会发现,随着离子步的进行,电子步的自洽会越来越快,这是因为几何结构越来越合理了。当然,也许有人会反驳,只有完全自洽了才能得到这种构型下的真正的力,我不否认。但是在没有完全自洽的情况下让其走一步,尽管所得的力的方向不是“真正”的力的方向,让其动一动,调整一下“姿势”,结构相对前一步肯定会合理一些。这是我的经验,大家要是觉得有些道理,可以试一试。以下是我的一个例子:
