原因可能是催化剂中的金属氧化物是吸附中心,也是氧化中心,它吸附氧气聚集在其表面形成氧物种,然后吸附SO3和CO到表面,CO与活泼的氧物种发生氧化反应生成CO2,SO3则形成金属硫酸盐。随着反应的进行,金属氧化物逐渐形成金属硫酸盐,金属氧化物的量减少,CO + 1/2O2 → CO2反应程度减小,CO2的生成量减小;而随着CO +1/2O2→CO2和SO2 +1/2O2→SO3反应程度的下降,O2含量不断增加,基本符合实验数据规律。

The reason might be that the metal oxide of the catalyst is adsorption center as well as oxidation center. It adsorps O2 that accumulates on its surface to form oxygen species. Then, SO3 and CO are adsorped too. CO reacts with the active oxygen species to generate co2, while so3 changes into metal sulfate. With the reaction's undergoing,  the metal oxide gradually becomes metal sulfate and decreases. The reduced reaction degree of CO + 1/2O2 → CO2 leads to a decrease in co2's yield quantity. Meanwhile, as the reaction degree of CO +1/2O2→CO2 and SO2 +1/2O2→SO3 lessens, the amount of o2 increases. This agrees with the principles of the experimental data.
