今天一篇文章返回了审稿意见。主编的意见其中有一条是： Also, the experiment involves only two experimental mice, which makes the results more suggestive than quantitative. For this reason, please be careful to not overstate the conclusions. The tentative nature of these results make this paper more of a technical note than a research manuscript, and the revision should be shortened accordingly.最后这一句是不是说文章要回收一些结论（不可做出太多远的夸大的推论），然后还要缩短文章篇幅？这该怎么回复呢？ -- |

笔记没什么意思吧？笔记的影响力太小了吧，不知道申请letter行不行呢?其实主编的全部评语是：Please have the revision of this paper reviewed and edited by someone with a good command of written English. The revision should address each and every comment of the referees, including the need for adequate data analysis and quantitation of experimental results. Also, the experiment involves only two experimental mice, which makes the results more suggestive than quantitative. For this reason, please be careful to not overstate the conclusions.
