2D-Materials Optoelectronics Advanced Photonics Research (APR) Lab at School of Electrical & Electronic Engineering (EEE) at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore is seeking one candidate for a PhD position in the field of 2D-materials optoelectronics. The successful candidates are expected to perform the following tasks: Device design and simulation Fabrication, optical characterizations and analyses The successful candidate should possess: Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree GPA higher than 80% Salary and benefits: Monthly salary: SGD 2,000 (2,500) before (after) and PhD qualification exam Tuition is exempted On-campus dormitory is guaranteed for the first year The maximum PhD duration is 4 years Information on EEE at NTU: Established in 1981, the School of EEE is one of the founding Schools of NTU. NTU EEE has been ranked 6th in the world for the Electrical and Electronic Engineering subject according to the 2017 QS World University Rankings.
