Yu lab has experience to support master students to apply for CSC scholarship. We have two students supported by CSC. We also offer financial support to potential candidates who are qualified for the position.
Dr. Yu's group has 9 members from 6 different countries with academic background from microbiology, neurology, biomedical engineering, eletronic engineering, Robotic controls. We are a highly diversified group to merge interdisciplinary concepts to study brain function. We are particularly interested in expanding our group by attracting talented students, who are truly interested in Science, in particular in studying animal and human brains with the modern methods.
In the past 5 years, we have published a series of seminal work in Nature Methods, Neuron, and PNAS and registered a few patents for potential commercialization. Three PhD students are successfully graduated in 4-4.5 year PhD training period in 2018. There are two students will also end their PhD training in 2019. So, it is a good time for young and motivate students to join us now.
