我用的统计方法是协方差分析，使用了一个协变量对结果进行了分析，审稿人所说的“” indicate whether or not it was significant“是什么意思呢？如何表明，在表格中吗？还有后面这句 “”the direction of the effect should be given“又是什么意思，我该如何表达是否显著了，也是在表格中吗？ 对协方差分析后的结果表达不是很清楚，求高人指点.
