[求助] 阳离子聚合物的DLS水合粒径与TEM粒径不一致的问题已有2人参与

各位亲们,文章审稿人提出问题,让就“DLS水合粒径与TEM粒径不一致的问题”引用文献多加解释。我目前的理解是TEM测试下的复合粒子是已经干燥的纳米粒子,而DLS是溶液状态下的复合粒子粒径。粒子在水溶液中发生一定的溶胀现象,导致水合粒径大于干燥粒子。

但是查阅了好久,并没有找到直接给出解释的文章。

不知道有没有虫友可以帮忙提供相关文献的,非常感谢!

刚刚忘记说了,我测得的水合粒径大约为200 nm, TEM的粒径大约为50 nm, 粒子是阳离子聚合物与pDNA的复合物。

However, the size was smaller than that measured by DLS. This was mainly due to the process involved in the preparation of sample. In the case of the TEM and SEM methods, TEM and SEM images depicted the actual size at the dried state of sample, whereas the size measured by the laser light scattering method was a hydrodynamic diameter (hydrated state), and therefore the nanoparticles showed a larger hydrodynamic volume due to solvent effect in the hydrated state.

这是再正常不过的现象啊

researchgate上有一个人解释的答案
DLS gives a hydrodynamic size that corresponds to the core and the swollen corona of the micelles, whereas TEM often gives a size of the core for micelles in a dried state as the corona with low electronic density is not visible.
