Suspension cultures were started with either 50ml or 100 ml SFM in a 1 liter spinner bottle. Half the medium was changed every 3-4 days by centrifuging the cells and adding them back with the fresh medium. Eventually, the volume of the medium was increased to 200 ml. Thereafter, half of the medium was changed three times a week by allowing the culture to remain stationary for 15-30 min, pipetting off the top half of the medium with a 100 ml pipette and then adding an equal volume of fresh medium. Very few cells were lost during this procedure because most of the cells grew in dense aggregates which settled out quickly. 翻译其实还能翻的通，就是那个换液，然后体积增加最后增加到200ml，具体怎么操作过来的不是很明白 |

我也知道换液，关键是怎么换。Half the medium was changed every 3-4 days by centrifuging the cells and adding them back with the fresh medium. Eventually, the volume of the medium was increased to 200 ml. Thereafter, half of the medium was changed three times a week by allowing the culture to remain stationary for 15-30 min, pipetting off the top half of the medium with a 100 ml pipette and then adding an equal volume of fresh medium.按照这个说法，新鲜培养基替换一般原来的培养基，体积应该是不增加的。 |
