求大神帮我看看这句话

我想表达的意思是，增加酸，可以减少拖尾，并且增加对称性。现在的问题是，老师说这句话读起来比较怪异，拖尾正确的表达方式是这样吗？求指教 Adding certain amount of acid (AcA or TFA) into mobile phase, it reduced the tailed of chromatographic peaks and increased its symmetry. |
