| With the rapid the development of fiber optical communication(FOC) and fiber to the home(FTTH) , it is in urgent need to design a optical time domain reflectometer ( OTDR ) with advantages of stable performance, high precision and lower cost for fiber optic fault detection. In this paper, it proposed a direct modulation laser based on boolean chaos and verify its operation by experiments, so as to realize the high precision fiber fault detection. This device(OTDR), based on boolean chaos as modulating signals, can directly modulate DFB laser v(a drive circuit to output chaotic laser. |
