The pregnant woman was died after been crashed by BMW car

On 5 June 2015 in Beijing busy street, a women is about 30 years old, who have dispute with a men about 57 years old. It is said they loved each other, but they has been quarreling before the women was died. When they had quarrel, the men want to drives his car to leave, but the women block the car who don’t want the men to leave. But the man was angry, he drives his car to hit the women, and then woman was died. In my opinion, the tragedy can avoid, but why they don't control their emotions? Thank you for your kind suggestion. For me, I can’t find enough time to improve my English level. But I think I can use a little time to translate some interesting news in this forum. Sometimes it is for sharing, sometimes it is for learning. In my humble opinion, most of Chinese people pursue native English, but has lost much communication chance with other. Anyway I will keep on my English study’s way, I will post another post as soon as possible. at least I can written something in everyday. Finally, I would like thank you helpful advice. | 不好意思，很抱歉，因为下面有链接，我以为是163网站的翻译，就讽刺了一下，看到回帖点了一下发现链接是汉语，所以可能是楼主自己翻的。不过还是要说一点，在没有达到很高水平时千万不要练习汉译英，因为好的汉译英涉及到措辞，意思意境的母语惯用表达，语感和思维方式，这是最难的一步，如果硬要如此练习等于还没学会走路就去滑冰。如果要关注这方面的学习，第一步首先要完全摆脱汉英，英汉词典，从措辞开始，比如，能否区别maybe, possible, probable, likely及其否定式的区别，表达的差别，哪个在表达不确定时有比较级？比如biosafety, biosecurity汉语都可翻成生物安全，但差别在哪里？什么场合该用哪一个？再比如，一个食用的edible，食用油，叫edible oil, 食用鱼，要翻成 food fish（因为有些鱼比如几千几万一条的锦鲤，也没毒可吃但不是用来吃的，所以不能翻成edible fish), 食用纤维叫diet fibre (fiber), 食用盐table salt等等。表达一个意境或含义两种语言差别就更大，当然你可以靠字典硬翻，但肯定是中式英语。中国日报曾谈到一个英语专业八级高分应试者把5.4运动翻成5.4 sport的错误。所以还是建议在没有达到很高水平时千万不要练习汉译英。这是一条歧途，练习多了会将中式英语固定成为坏习惯。 |
