[交流] A postdoc position in the area of stem cell biology

A postdoc position in the area of stem cell biology (intestine, stomach or kidney) in Tongli Zhang’s lab is available
(from Aug, 2015 till the position is filled) in the Department of Molecular & Cellular Physiology (MCP) at
the Medical School of the University of Cincinnati (UC).

An applicant is expected to:
1) Have experience in research and publication.
2) Be highly motivated, comfortable of independent as well as collaborative research.

Choices of the research projects can be broad.  Potential projects might include:
1.    The decision making of stem cells in intestine, stomach or kidney.
2.    Signal transduction pathways such as Notch, Wnt, Hedgehog, etc.
3.    Cellular process such as cell cycle control, apoptosis, or circadian rhythm,

Tongli Zhang’s lab uses mathematical modeling to address the decision making of stem cells.  The lab will also collaborate with other faculty members in the Department of Molecular & Cellular Physiology and in the Medical school (including labs in the Children’s hospital).

NIH standard salary and UC standard benefits (e.g. medical insurance) will be provided.
