Nature Energy and Nature Microbiology are accepting submissions now. Nature Energy will publish studies related to energy generation, storage and management. Inviting research from across the natural and social sciences, the journal will be a forum for all parties involved with energy—whatever their expertise—to come together and address the pressing questions of our time: Where do we source our energy from? How do we use it? Can we get enough? "As our environment continues to change, addressing the issues around energy and sustainability becomes ever more urgent," said James Butcher, Publishing Director, Science and Academic. "Nature Energy will facilitate the interdisciplinary discussions needed to solve these challenges." ---- Nature Reviews Materials builds on the success of Nature Materials (2013 Impact Factor 36.425).* As the first Nature Reviews title in the physical sciences, the new journal adds to a current portfolio of 16 titles in the life and clinical sciences and will uphold the same exceptionally high editorial standards that have made those journals so successful. Like all Nature-branded journals, Nature Energy, Nature Microbiology and Nature Reviews Materials will each be run by a dedicated team of professional editors who will ensure a fair and rigorous peer-review process, high standards of copy-editing and production, swift publication and editorial independence. These three new subscription journals join our wider portfolio, which includes 79 journals with an open access option.
