The observation of out-of-order discs has revealed that macroscopic cracks are found only in the radial direction extending from the inner to the outer radius but without passing through the whole radius length. Figure 3 presents an example of such a macroscopic crack with a length of 66 mm. The geometry of these cracks is generally strictly rectilinear.
