今天跟往常一样关注文章的命运，外审意见回来一个，大致如下： The manuscript is well written and the work is thorough, but it is largely descriptive and does not add significantly to an understanding of the mechanisms involved. There is a very substantial literature on the involvement of polyamines in stress responses, particularly in relation to antioxidants and although their mode of action is not well understood, this manuscript provides little further insight. Therefore I feel that the manuscript is not suited to JPGR and would be better submitted to another journal, particularly one focused more on applied aspects. 意见为退稿，但建议我另投偏应用方面的期刊。这个杂志的外审专家一般为几个的呢？本文章现在状态为Manuscripts with Decisions，估计被reject的命运是定了吧！请大家帮忙分析分析下，它的命运如何呢？被退后该改投哪个杂志比较好，着急需要它毕业呢？Although I realize that you will be disappointed by this finding, I hope that by making the decision prior to external review, additional delay can be avoided as you seek a more suitable journal for your work.
