He says it's the appropriate time for hagel to move on, after coming into office focused on ending the Afghan war and dealing with budget cuts, but being hit with other crises, including Russian aggression in Ukraine. after后面怎么能有两个动词呢？ come and focus ———————————————— 今天没过来，刚看到，这个句子开始没细看，你问得确实有道理，这里是因为为了简练有省略，并且为了简练连整个句子都有逻辑主语的问题。先说 come and focus 本来应该是“after coming into office he focused on..."（这个 he 一般人都会认为是哈格儿，但从句子逻辑结构看其实不是，只不过记者认为读者不会误会才这么省略） 然后，本句后面部分的逻辑主语应该是句子开头那个 he（Obama总统？谁说的那话？），这样严格看是有逻辑主语的问题的，在科技英语里这是有毛病的句子。这是我个人看法。 |
