Postdoctoral Position at the University of Houston College of Pharmacy

A post-doctoral position is available at the University of Houston, College of Pharmacy, Department of Pharmacological and Pharmaceutical Sciences in the field of medicinal and organic chemistry. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, synthesis and characterization of compounds to be used in structure-activity relationship and optimization studies with biology collaborators. The ideal candidate should have strong synthetic organic chemistry skills, including compound purification and characterization. They should also be highly motivated, have good work ethic, excellent communication skills, and be able to work independently and potentially supervise undergraduate students.
