The new algorithm combines the angles with mutual coupling parameters but decouples them, which can provide accurate angle estimation without the knowledge of mutual coupling. In addition, the mutual coupling coefficients for array self-calibration can be achieved simultaneously. Instead of multidimensional search or iterative computation, the algorithm just uses a one-dimensional search, so it can reduce the computational cost.
