【求助】review editor值得做吗？ 已有8人参与

最近我老板给我发了一封Frontiers in Materials杂志的邀请邮件（他是该杂志的associate editor），部分内容如下： It is with great pleasure that I invite you to serve on the Review Editorial Board of Smart Materials, which is a specialty of Frontiers in Materials. As a Review Editor, you would be expected to review manuscripts that fall within your area of expertise submitted to Smart Materials. Review Editors play an integral part in the novel Frontiers review process, which ensures a fair, constructive, efficient and transparent review. Review Editors focus on certifying the accuracy and validity of manuscripts and engage in a constructive discussion with the authors. To ensure a constructive review process, and to acknowledge their significant contribution to the manuscripts, reviewers’ names are listed on published articles. Frontiers is a Swiss, Gold open-access academic publisher that was launched in 2007 as a grassroots initiative by scientists of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (EPFL). Founded on a collective desire for a better publishing option, Frontiers is the first publisher to have developed its own customized IT platform to specifically facilitate open-access publishing and offer novel solutions to peer-review. Frontiers has recently partnered with Nature Publishing Group to advance the global open science movement.
