1. vendor
vendor主要用作“小贩”之意（someone who sells things, especially on the street：卖东西的人，特指在街道上卖东西的人）
例：
①A vendor dispensed free bottles of water to travelers waiting in the hot sun.

2. supplier
（a company or person that provides a particular product提供特定产品的公司或个人）
例：
①Which supplier do you deal with?
②During this period, Russia became the largest supplier of military hardware to India.

①This will supersede all other terms and conditions offered by vendor.

②It is hereby agreed that the Vendor's Agent is the agent of the Vendor only and the Purchaser's Agent is the agent of the Purchaser only/the Agent is the agent for both the Vendor and the Purchaser/for the Vendor only/for the Purchaser only.

Supplier is the one who sells the goods material to vendors and vendors directly interacts with the customer and sells the finished final product to them and they intern gets paid . So vendor is the point of contact for the warranty provided for a product.

but in some cases supplier can become a vendor and directly sell his product to customer
and similarly vendor can also become a supplier in getting the goods from manufacturer.
