| Studies of the influence of dynamic mechanical properties of butyl rubber by the type and amount of carbon black (IIR) showed that with the increase of the size of the carbon black particle , little tan ¦Ä changed at around -1.5 ¡æcorresponding to the temperature, but the tan ¦Ä max values were significantly increased. With glass transition region gradually widened, the storage modulus E 'decreased. The larger Charcoal Black diameter, the less jointed rubber to form in the rubber matrix and the lower crosslinking density. When the rubber subjected to alternating stress , rubber macromolecular chains are likely slide over the surface of the carbon black . The friction between the rubber molecular chain and the surface of carbon black caused higher energy loss and the vulcanized rubber loss factor peak rised . With the increasing use of carbon black N990, the glass transition region of the vulcanized rubber IIR is gradually narrowed , tan ¦Ä peak became smaller and the Tg increased slightly. |
