与4楼商榷： 。。。 faculty from many of the schools at the University have had to use other facilities in the Baltimore area 该大学中许多学院的教师一直不得不使用巴尔的摩地区其他的设施，这句主语动词宾语都很清晰，主语=faculty from many of the schools at the University， 动词+to=have had to use, 宾语= other facilities in the Baltimore area.希望到此没有异议。然后and those located in other cities，我的理解是and 连接起来的是other facilities in the Baltimore area 和 those located in other cities, 一起做have had to use的宾语，those 指facilities。 至于located， 它不是动词，而是过去分词。这句话本来是可以这样写的 (这样看就更清楚了）： ...have had to use other facilities (located) in the Baltimore area and those located in other cities， 但省略了前一个。 总之those不是指faculty， 那样说不通。 |
