关于plos one的competing interests

我前一阵子投稿到plos one,在competing interest section里写的“The authors have declared that no competing interests exist.”但是编辑支持我们的一个作者来自一个商业公司，于是提出如下问题，叫我改competing interest，情况是这样的，这个作者参与了实验，也使用了那个公司的产品，请问大家，我该怎么写competing interest？ Please respond in the cover letter to declare the affiliation(s) to this company in the Competing Interests section of the online manuscript form, along with any other relevant declarations relating to employment, consultancy, patents, products in development or marketed products etc. If true, you should also confirm in the competing interests section that this does not alter your adherence to all the PLOS ONE policies on sharing data and materials, as detailed online in our guide for authors http://www.PLOSone.org/static/editorial.action#competing by including the following statement: "This does not alter our adherence to all the PLOS ONE policies on sharing data and materials." Please note that we cannot proceed with consideration of your article until this has been declared.
