Dear Professor Adel Rafai Far,
I am a postgraduate student in China and have had the pleasure of reading your paper "xxx" published in 2008. I write to you to ask for advice on a couple of questions. I followed the approach in your paper to synthesize compound 31 in Scheme 5a but unfortunately failed to obtain the product. I am wondering if I may know the detailed steps in the experiments in Scheme 5a, how coloration of compounds 31,32,33 and TLC is done and the Rf value of the product. Your advice is gratefully acknowledged.
