Dear Professor Adel Rafai Far, I am a postgraduate student in China and have had the pleasure of reading your paper "xxx" published in 2008. I write to you to ask for advice on a couple of questions. I followed the approach in your paper to synthesize compound 31 in Scheme 5a but unfortunately failed to obtain the product. I am wondering if I may know the detailed steps in the experiments in Scheme 5a, how coloration of compounds 31,32,33 and TLC is done and the Rf value of the product.
