培养目标：本专业培养具备采矿工程师的基本能力，能在采矿领域等方面从事矿区开发规划、矿山(露天、井下)设计、矿山安全技术及工程设计、监察、生产技术管理科学研究的高等工程技术人才。

　　培养要求：本专业学生主要学习岩体工程力学、采矿及矿山安全及工程方面的基本理论和基本技术，受到采矿工程师的基本训练，具有矿区规划、矿山开采设计、岩层控制技术、矿山安全技术及工程设计方面的基本能力。

　　毕业生应获得以下几方面的知识和能力：
