Galley proof修改及回复

小弟刚有一篇文章被接收了，杂志社发来了proof，由于第一次投稿，不太清楚如何处理，下面是杂志编辑发来的邮件。 Please find attached here the galley proof of your manuscript. You are requested to vet it carefully and indicate your corrections (clearly and itemised), if any, on a separate MS Word document and return to me within 72 hours. DO NOT MAKE THE CORRECTIONS DIRECTLY ON THE GALLEY PROOF AND DO NOT RETURN THE GALLEY PROOF TO US. Only typographical and formatting errors should be sent to me. In particular, ensure that: 1. all Figures and Tables mentioned in the text are accounted for 2. all Figures and Tables provided are referred to inside the text 3. all references cited in the text are accounted for in the ‘References’ section 4. you carefully read through to make sure everything is correct as you will take full responsibility for any errors; furthermore, after publication, we will not effect any corrections that were not specifically pointed out to us. 编辑的意思是不是说我不能在PDF上修改，需要重新在原来文章word版上面进行修改？ |
