Abstract:
The main ways of earthquake rescue are the ground-dependent rescue and air-dependent rescue. Up to now the ground-dependent rescue is the most basic and most common way of earthquake rescue, but the air-dependant rescue have more advantage of less time and space constrain in comparison with ground-dependent rescue. By the research of rescue circumstance, we found: while air-dependent rescue having less time and space constraints, the total time of rescue will be depended on the time that the ground rescue teams spend on reaching to each site of disaster. In order to minimize the rescue time and to carry out the overall rescue action by a fastest speed, we found that we can achieve this goal by” xx theory”.
Introduction:
Earthquake is a very common natural phenomenon in earth. Due to the rapid vibration of the surface of earth caused by the crustal movement and the vibration caused by the rapid release of energy of the crustal movement, seismic waves are generated. Earthquake magnitude is graded by the size of energy released by earthquake. The more energy released in a time, the higher the grade is. Take the late five years for example, Wenchuang’s 8.0 Richter Scale earthquake which occurred in China 2008 and Chile’s 8.8 Richter Scale which occurred at February 2010 all have caused huge casualties and property loss. Earthquake is the most ferocious enemy in the world. The direct aftermath contains: the destruction of buildings and structures, ground damage, destruction of natural objects such as mountains, the destruction of coastal areas caused by the huge coming up waves which are caused by tsunami and earthquake. After the direct disasters, then come the secondary disasters such as floods, fires, etc. Sometimes, casualties and damage caused by secondary disasters are bigger than the direct disaster. Great Kanto Earthquake in Japan 1932, a direct result of the earthquake made only 10,000 houses collapsed, while a fire occurred during the earthquake has burned 700,000. |
