求解审稿专家有关文章中的Western blots意见

小虫投了一篇Journal of Molecular Medicine，文章修回 其中一位审稿专家的一条意见是如下： “At a technical level, the authors need to show specific binding of antibodies to proteins in Western blots (for Nrf2, Orai1, Stim1) as commercial antibodies are frequently non-specific. This can be done, for instance, by RNAi. List companies antibodies were purchased from and clone numbers. Show entire Western blots (at least in Supplemental Figures), not just isolated bands. It is impossible to evaluate if these bands are specific for the proteins they are supposed to represent.” 前面的意思我能理解，就是要求给出详细的抗体厂家和克隆类型，但是接下来的要求在Supplemental Figures增加“entire Western blots”，小虫实在不理解，求各位虫友给出宝贵意见！ Ps：我的WB图片都是，暗室曝光后的胶片，扫描后剪切的成几个一横行的条带，与SCI文章中常见图片无异 |
